The MOB Light and Smoke Signal is designed for vertical mounting on the ship’s bridge, with one unit installed on both the port and starboard sides. Positioned near a lifebuoy at least five meters above the waterline, it activates automatically when the lifebuoy is thrown overboard.
Once released from its bracket, the unit emits both light and smoke, clearly marking the position of a person in the water for day and night visibility. Powered by a lithium battery, it can also be manually launched on smaller vessels. The MOB signal is globally approved and fully SOLAS compliant, providing reliable man-overboard marking in emergencies.
